Arc’teryx Spec — Process
This piece explores how AI can solve a common client challenge: creating high-end product visuals in extreme environments without the cost and complexity of a full location shoot.Using tools like MidJourney, Nano Banana, and Kling, I built a cinematic workflow that treats AI as a virtual production tool—directing camera movement, controlling lighting, and maintaining realism across shots.A key advantage is the ability to seamlessly recreate products in AI without extensive 3D modeling or rendering pipelines, dramatically reducing production time while still achieving a premium, photoreal look.To avoid the typical “AI look,” I focused on consistent lensing, natural light behavior, and subtle temporal shifts in environmental elements like snow and wind—creating the feeling of a continuous moment rather than static frames.The result is a minimal, product-first spot that feels like a real-world shoot, while demonstrating a faster, more flexible approach to high-end production.
